Fix Radio Tool Theft Conference 2026

Enough is Enough: Let’s Turn The Tide on Tool Theft!

Tool theft isn’t just an inconvenience - it’s a £40 million annual crisis gutting the UK construction industry. With over 25,000 reported thefts in 2024 and less than 1% of tools ever returned, hard-working tradespeople are being left unable to earn a living.

Fix Radio is bringing tradespeople, brands, insurers, and decision-makers together under one roof for a landmark event to drive real, practical change.

Event Details

• Venue: Fazeley Studios, 191 Fazeley St, Digbeth, Birmingham B5 5SE
• Date: Thursday 22nd October 2026
• Doors Open: 09:30AM
• Main Event: 10:30AM - 5:00PM

We are taking direct action across five critical topics:

• Forensic Marking: Accelerating widespread adoption to make stolen tools impossible to sell.
• Insurance That Actually Delivers: Building trade-specific cover that works when you need it most.
• Next-Level Van Security: Upgrading defenses to stop break-ins before they happen.
• Cleaning Up Resale Markets: Regulating second-hand sales to cut off theft demand at the source.
• The Human Impact: Protecting the mental health and financial wellbeing of affected tradespeople.
