At Fix Radio, we know that behind every successful trade business is more than just skill and hard work — it’s family.
From builders and plumbers to electricians and decorators, family-run trade businesses are the heartbeat of Britain’s economy. But with rising costs, tighter deadlines, and limited time for growth, many are feeling the pressure.
That’s why we've partnered with Citroën to launch the Citroën Trade Families initiative — dedicated to supporting the families behind the tools.
Daniel set up Nest & Vine as a father and son family run business, to secure his son George's future in the industry. Specialising in landscape gardening and property maintenance, they have seen early success, but to take the business forward, developing George's skills through training is an immediate priority.
Having been in the trade all his working life, at age 67, David was keen to pass the reins of the family business on to his daughter, Charlotte. Leaving her career in Sales & Marketing, Charlotte has moved into the trade with a view to gaining skills, training up and one day taking over the family business.
Jac started his multi-trade business in Wales and has taken it with him following a move to Yorkshire. It is a true family enterprise with everyone chipping in to keep things growing and the work coming in. Jac has a bold vision for his brand and is keen for help in bringing that to life through Citroën Trade Families.
